Hello everyone,
Some news about the blog and other stuff...

I rarely use Stardoll now due to glitches and having issues going to others pages, especially those with any animated items as it cause me to glitch or crash. I think this is due to the fact that Stardoll has now added more advertisement, not sure why they've done this. Please go back to the way you were Stardoll! I was at one stage going to give away/sell my account or even just simply delete my account, however I have gone against both these ideas as I have worked too hard on my account for many years.

And just incase you're thinking of asking for my account, don't. It's not for sale and I'm not giving it away. I just wanted everyone that comes here to know and understand how difficult it is for me to currently use Stardoll.

The blog has also been given a mini makeover, which have been given to the other pages (requests, help, ect). I am really happy with the results, what do you think? Let me know in the comments if you like it or not.

Along with the mini makeover I have added a series of questions that would be helpful to me when requesting presentations. The most important one is, if you're requesting a presentation related to a celebrity, artist, band or anything famous please either:

1. Find or name someone on Stardoll who creates designs based on this famous figure (it's okay, if you can't find anyone)
OR
2. If they're a singer or band, name a song that you like from them so I can create a presentation using those lyrics

This is due to the above mention about how I glitch and/or crash whilst attempting to use Stardoll and also because I'm lazy :P

And just a kind reminder, any presentations that you see with the tag "© Skittle.Fashion @ Starlight Presentations" or "© Skittle.Fashion - No Sticky Paws!" still belong to me!

The username is inspired by my favourite anime Sailor Moon and my love for cats!

Some things to know:

1. ALL presentations have had there codes updated. It now says "© SAILORxMEW @ Starlight Presentations"
2. I didn't update ANY of the previews to the presentations as:

a. I wanted to get the blog re-opened ASAP

b. I'm currently really busy in my personal life
c. I'm generally a lazy person
3. Halloween inspired competition/contest coming soon. Just waiting on SD to release some more Halloween inspired items

Username Change

Hi everyone,
I'm not sure if this feature is available everywhere or not, but Stardoll now allows you to change your username. *Happy dance*

So basically this post is to make everyone aware that I will be changing my username as soon as I decide whether I want to make it the same as my gaming/social media usernames or something different. When I decide on that the blog will be closed so I can change ALL the tags on the presentations. I am unsure how long this will take as there's currently 150+ presentations, but I'm hoping no longer than a week.

For those wondering why I will be changing my username, here's a quick story:
I created my first account in 2006, I was young and naive and gave my password to a complete stranger who hacked my account. So I made another account, but also made a backup incase something happened to that account. I lost the main account over a silly misunderstanding, making Skittle.Fashion my new main account. The username was inspired by my cat, Skittles and obviously fashion. I no longer have the cat, and I don't consider myself a fashion trendsetter or someone who follows high fashion. So the username in other words is a mixture of happy and sad memories along with something that means next to nothing to me.

Hi everyone,

So its the 31st August which means 3 things...

1. Its the last day of August for 2018
2. The winner for the contest will be announced today
and 3. The results for the poll are also announced today

So I'll first give the results of the poll.. The colour that will be made into a presentation for this month is *drum roll* BLUE!

I plan on having the presentation completed and up on the blog by the end of tomorrow.

And now onto the contest winner... I honestly had a hard time picking as they were all so good, but I ended up choosing majdolinefamous entry. I love the magical feel that this entry has, it seems like something that would be chosen if Starlight was to have a real party. Congratulation! You'll receive your 50sd wishlist prize soon!

So it's Starlight Presentation's 1st Birthday!
Well, actually, it was on the 4th July.. but I was busy with personal stuff so this is a (majorly) delayed celebration.

I've decided since I no longer have a club on Stardoll, I'll hold contest/competitions on the blog every now and again. The prize/s will be different and so will the competitions/contents.

Okay, so now onto this contest... All you have to do is dress your doll in a birthday outfit, simple right?

Rules:
1. Dress YOUR doll (can't use anyone else's - sorry!) in a outfit suitable for a fancy birthday
2. Post your look plus your username in the comments below

~ This page was added as I'm not always on Stardoll anymore and sometimes the topic on the club gets deleted

~ New section to see what other pages I recommend/partner with
~ If you've a blog owner you can request to be partners on this page (Stardoll related pages only)

~ No longer adding this page/tab, due to the fact I believe most people prefer to either not have a presentation or use a code from someone else
~ If you would like to attempt coding I recommend either lechuvie or Stardoll Presentations

So quick update if you're not a member of the club

Introduction

Hey everyone it's Skittle.Fashion (Shayne),

I started this blog due to the fact I felt disrespected by some members on "Stardoll Presentations". I hope by having this blog I can stop theft (plagiarism) of my work or at least lower it.

Some things to know about the blog (will be reposted on the club .S.F.) :
• The blog will currently be completely run by myself, Skittle.Fashion - If I decide to add presentation makers I will post it on my club
• I am currently re-adding old presentations, some may have been re-vamped. I will make new and requested presentations once I have added my old presentations
• Do not give the entry word to anyone, I'm trying to lower theft/plagiarism not have it continued
• Yes, I really will ban you from my club and change the entry word if you change the credit


When I say "Do not remove or change the credit"what I mean is... Yes, you can add your username if you edited in some way, example: changed the background, added boarders, added boxes, more picture boxes - just change the credits to "© Skittle.Fashion, edited by *your username*". However, if you've just changed the pictures or something simple like that than keep the credits, I word hard on my presentations (especially now since I'm editing some and re-adding all of them to this blog) and having someone remove or edit the credits to make it seem like they made the presentation is heartbreaking. Yes, some take 5 minutes but others can take hours or days, but either way it shouldn't matter as I make the presentations and deserve the credit for them.
